Jen Mulhern has been performing in the Central Texas area for the past 15 years as both a classical and improvisational artist. She received her Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Texas State University-San Marcos in 2003. In addition to her classical commitments with the Corpus, Victoria, and Laredo Symphonies, Ms. Mulhern currently performs with The Wave Farmers and has recorded with award-winning pop/electronic band Matson Belle, Ear to Anon, Omar Lopez, the Arco Iris Duo, Human Trio, and countless other singer/songwriters. Ms. Mulhern is the director of the Texas State Strings Camp and maintains a private studio in Austin. She is currently devoting her attention to the development of a unique genre of live looping that combines extensive classical training with a heavy dose of inspiration from modern pop, punk, rock, blues and electronic music.
