Jen Mulhern has been performing in the Central Texas area for the past ten years as both a classical and improvisational artist. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Texas State University-San Marcos after performing with the Texas State Symphony Orchestra as principal cellist for four years. As a recent addition to the Austin Music scene, she has performed and recorded with award-winning pop/electronic band Matson Belle, Ear to Anon, Omar Lopez, the Arco Iris Duo, Human Trio, and the Laredo Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Mulhern is the director of the Texas State Strings Camp and maintains private studios in both Austin and San Marcos. She is currently devoting her attention to the development of a unique musical style that combines extensive classical training with a heavy dose of inspiration from modern pop, punk, rock, blues and electronic music.
